Contact us
Veritext is published by MAAKS SAS. For any question, difficulty or complaint:
contact@veritext.fr
This is the address given in our terms of sale (in French) for complaints, and the only channel of
contact we publish. There is no telephone, no form, no chat — we prefer an address that works to
a counter that gives the illusion of being staffed.
What we do not promise
No guaranteed response time. Veritext has no dedicated support team, and none of our plans
carries a service-level commitment. Announcing "a reply within 24 hours" would be a promise we could
not keep today.
If you need an availability commitment, write to us before subscribing: that is handled case by case,
not by a line on a web page.
Three answers you may already be looking for
"I have lost my password."
Your history is lost, permanently, and there is nothing we can do about it — this is not a limitation
of our tooling. The keys that decrypt your documents are derived from your password and exist only on
your side; we have never held anything that could reconstruct them. That is the exact counterpart of
what the service promises. The 24-word recovery phrase handed to you at sign-up exists precisely
for this case.
"I am told too many attempts on my six-digit code."
That is deliberate. After five wrong codes, the second factor is locked for fifteen minutes.
Wait: it unlocks on its own, and you get five attempts again. If this keeps happening without you
making a mistake, it is your phone's clock drifting — turn on automatic time setting.
"The score says my text is generated when it is not."
That happens, and we publish the figure rather than hide it: our detector has an AUC of 0.721,
meaning roughly one text in three is misclassified. A score is not proof and must never be used
to penalise anyone. Our terms exclude that explicitly.
Reporting a security problem
Write to security@veritext.fr, the address published in our CAA DNS record and in
/.well-known/security.txt. Describe what you observed; we ask for
neither a working proof of concept nor exclusivity.
The Security (in French) page describes what the service protects, and what it does not.
